In a world where science has begun using gene splicing to create animal/human hybrids, there are new breeds being created strictly as warriors. Joshua Brand returns to the Sioux reservation where he was born. After the death of his mother, Brand agrees to participate in a ceremony that may make him more powerful than any of the hybrids.
