A man and his boy, hunting in a forest, are caught in a storm and seek refuge in an old wood cabin. In it, they find a strange old Indiana who insists on telling them a story. Upon retiring to bed, their dreams of past experiences or fantasies become so intense, sleep and wakefulness become blurred and long buried wounds and desires come back to the surface screaming for resolution.
