The most effective plot device in this story are the kids, in which they introduce themselves like it was an AA meeting: Name, Age, Drugs done, etc. This comic is targeted to kids and every few pages there was a new kids telling up why drugs messed up their life.The last few pages of this comic is an activity section in which the reader has a chance to really think about the message in this comic. There is also a letter from then President Reagan about drugs.
