Set in the last unpolluted city of Tromaville, New Jersey, wimpy health club janitor Melvin Junko gets a cruel prank played on him. Embarrassed, he falls out of a window and into a vat of toxic waste. To his surprise, the unknown acid grants Melvin superhuman size and strength! Now under the name Toxie, he aims to rid the environment of pollution with his new team, the Toxic Crusaders!
